I was actually in the mood for some light pasta and they had on the veg menu a Spinach and Tomato Pasta. I will probably order that the next time I am in. They do have a Vegan Roasted Vegetables with two kinds of Quinoa on the menu and that looks like it doesn’t need any modifying. I appreciate all of the restaurants that are making moves like this but they really need to think more about offering more vegan items to begin with…the vegetarians surely won’t mind.
A number of the vegetarian items have cheese in them so you need to ask the server if they can leave the cheese out to veganize the meal. It is separate so you need to ask for it if your server does not automatically bring it to you. While not an extensive vegetarian menu, with about eight items on it, it is a start. But maybe one thing that you did not know about Tommy Bahama’s Restaurant is that now they are veggie cool–meaning that they have their very own vegetarian menu…an invitation to people to eat plant-strong.
